Privacy notice
This explains what personal data Imesiv Events collects, why, and what happens to it. It applies to this website and to the hire process itself.
What we collect
When you make a booking enquiry, we collect your first name, surname, mobile number, email address, event address and postcode, and (if different) your home address. If you tell us anything else in the free-text field of the form, we hold that too.
Photo ID and proof of address
At collection or delivery, we check a photo ID (passport or driving licence) and a proof of address (bank statement, utility bill or government document) belonging to the named hirer. This is checked by eye and handed straight back to you — we do not photograph it, photocopy it, scan it, or keep any record of its number or details.
Why we collect it
We use your contact and address details to check availability, quote a price, arrange delivery or collection, and confirm your booking. ID is checked in person purely to confirm that the person collecting or receiving the equipment is the person named on the booking, and to protect the equipment during hire.
Where it's stored
Enquiry details are sent to us by email and recorded in a private spreadsheet used to track demand and bookings. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites. No cookie consent banner is shown because none is required for this kind of analytics.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as reasonably needed to manage the hire, resolve any dispute, and meet our own accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, email [email protected].
